Raúl Martínez was a Cuban artist whose practice encompassed painting, printmaking, and graphic design across the postwar period. Working from Havana, he developed a distinctive visual language that merged abstraction with figural and typographic elements, often engaging with themes of mass communication and cultural identity. His work appeared in major Cuban institutions and international venues throughout the Cold War era.
